I have just cast on for the toe-up stocking from Joan McGowan-Michael's new "Knitting Lingerier Style" book. This will be my first toe-up sock). I have a question about the directions: I don't understand what it means for working the second half of the toe:
"Pick up and knit 1 st from first half of toe, knit to end, pick up and knit 1 st from first half of toe."
Can anyone explain?

It streamlines the process so that customers are able to perfectly describe what they are looking for in socks. It also makes the process easier for the manufacturers that are trying to read this information to ensure customer satisfaction. sock template
